The Methanol Institute (MI), National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), and the Indian Wind Power Association (IWPA) are organising the Technical Knowledge webinar. The event will host NSEFI solar industry experts, IWPA wind experts, and government officials that will discuss the strategic role of green methanol as a hydrogen carrier.
The purpose of the webinar is to promote India’s future hydrogen economy by a knowledge-sharing session that will provide insights and solutions to clean energy projects in India. The presenters will discuss the different facets of producing green hydrogen through methanol, the business of green methanol, methanol reformation to hydrogen, and methanol fuel cells.
The Indian Government is focusing on the role of green hydrogen and how it will play in future renewable energy systems, as they have announced they have intentions of launching a National Hydrogen Mission.
