When Blue World Technologies was founded, this was with a clear ambition to contribute to overcoming global environmental and climate challenges.

Blue World Technologies was founded in 2018 by Anders Korsgaard, Chief Executive Officer, Mads Friis Jensen, Chief Commercial Officer, and Mads Bang, Chief Technology Officer, all highly experienced executives within the fuel cell industry. Common for the founders is full dedication towards high-temperature PEM methanol fuel cell technology throughout most of their respective careers.

The Blue World Technologies team has grown rapidly from consisting of the three founders to now including highly skilled experts from all over the world. Besides fuel cell expertise, the team also represent strong skills within management, administration, sales, business development and production.

To ensure Blue World Technologies in succeeding with pushing for a carbon-neutral future, the company has created a strong leadership through an experienced and ambitious Corporate Management team and a highly skilled Board of Directors.

Christian Peter Schou Jakobsen

Chief Financial Officer

Degree in finance from Aalborg University
Experienced finance leader having worked with a wide range of disciplines within financials in companies within auditing, production, and project management.

Strong focus on securing financing, strengthening corporate governance, ensuring compliance obligations, and implementing business processes and IT systems.

Morten Hougaard Sørensen

Chief Technology Officer

With over 20 years of experience in fuel cell technology, Morten has played a pivotal role in advancing HTPEM fuel cells from early-stage demonstrations to market-ready products. He combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership in technology-driven organizations. Holding a Master’s degree from Aalborg University, complemented by executive and board-level education, Morten brings a unique blend of innovation, strategic vision, and proven execution to the fuel cell industry
