When Blue World Technologies was founded, this was with a clear ambition to contribute to overcoming global environmental and climate challenges.

Blue World Technologies was founded in 2018 by Anders Korsgaard, Chief Executive Officer, Mads Friis Jensen, Chief Commercial Officer, and Mads Bang, Chief Technology Officer, all highly experienced executives within the fuel cell industry. Common for the founders is full dedication towards high-temperature PEM methanol fuel cell technology throughout most of their respective careers.

The Blue World Technologies team has grown rapidly from consisting of the three founders to now including highly skilled experts from all over the world. Besides fuel cell expertise, the team also represent strong skills within management, administration, sales, business development and production.

To ensure Blue World Technologies in succeeding with pushing for a carbon-neutral future, the company has created a strong leadership through an experienced and ambitious Corporate Management team and a highly skilled Board of Directors.

Experienced tech-entrepreneur and leader with a focus on new energy technologies. Strong leadership skills combined with a deep technical and commercial insight. Founder and former CEO of SerEnergy.

Build up +100 people organisation including R&D, Sales & Service, Operations & Manufacturing and international subsidiaries.

Mads Friis Jensen

Chief Commercial Officer and Co-founder

MSc in Engineering, INSEAD Business Alumni
Experienced commercial executive and leader with a focus on bringing fuel cell technology to global markets. Background in fuel cells from Schneider Electric, Ballard Power Systems and SerEnergy.

Build up of global Sales & Service organisation for the stationary fuel cell segment with a network of key customers and partners.

Pioneer in methanol fuel cell mobility building several vehicles and vessels together with global OEM’s.

Dennis Naldal Jensen

Chief Technology Officer

MSc in Mechanical Engineering
A strong technical leader with more than two decades of global experience in technology and product development. Holds substantial knowledge of mechanical and thermal engineering, electronics, and fuel cell technology.

With a commercial and product-orientated mindset, the goal is to bring high-quality products with a focus on efficiency and durability to customers around the world.

Christian Peter Schou Jakobsen

Chief Financial Officer

Degree in finance from Aalborg University
Experienced finance leader having worked with a wide range of disciplines within financials in companies within auditing, production, and project management.

Strong focus on securing financing, strengthening corporate governance, ensuring compliance obligations, and implementing business processes and IT systems.

Søren Nord Rødkjær Larsen

Chief Operations Officer

BSc in Engineering, Manufacturing and Production from Aalborg University
Senior Manager with +20 years of experience from global companies, working with People Management, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Lean, and Strategy Deployment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills utilised to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve stretched goals. Proven record of accomplishments in improving performance, increasing profitability, and reducing cost.
