Technical Project Assistant

If yes, then you could be our new Technical Project Assistant!

The job

You will be a part of our Mechanical team in our Product Development department, and your primary focus will be to assist in documentation tasks related to the production and development of methanol-based fuel cell systems.

As Technical Project Assistant your main responsibility will be to support our Production and Development teams in administrative and documentation-related tasks. This includes creating and updating documentation on our systems and components, supporting our engineers and technicians with 3D modelling, and supporting our other departments with technical drawings and documentation to suppliers or customers.

Primary tasks:

  • Create and modify 3D CAD parts and assemblies.
  • Prepare 2D drawings from 3D models for manufacturers or our production.
  • Update P&ID and electrical diagrams in MS Visio or SEE Electrical.
  • Update BOM list for fuel cell systems.
  • Help with implementation into the ERP system.
  • Create tables, figures, and rendered pictures for folders etc. based on 3D drawings.

Your profile

You have an education as Technical Designer and it is preferred, if you have experience or knowledge about the following:

  • 3D modelling in SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar software tools.
  • Knowledge and experience reading and understanding electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
  • Experience with the MS package.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • You are analytical and structured, self-driven and energetic.
  • You are accountable for your work and are result-oriented.
  • You also have a flair for details without losing the overview.
  • As the corporate language at Blue World Technologies is English, you must control the English language both verbally and in writing.

Blue World Technologies is an ambitious and visionary developer and manufacturer of methanol fuel cell components and systems for the automotive and heavy-duty transportation sectors and stationary and APU applications around the world. The fuel cells act as a green alternative to combustion engines and diesel generators. Our fuel cells are based on the High-Temperature PEM technology combined with methanol-reforming. A combination that ensures a simple system design with high conversion efficiency and significant benefits including CO2 reduction, fuel cost savings, and zero harmful emissions.

We are a fast-growing company that was founded in 2018. Our headquarters is located at the Port of Aalborg, Denmark, where we are currently in the process of establishing a serial production of fuel cells. Besides the team in Aalborg, we also have a team in Kvistgaard, Denmark where part of our R&D activities is carried out.
