Dr Mads Bang, CTO of Blue World Technologies is among industry experts who were invited to be keynote speakers at the 6th International CARISMA Conference on Medium and High-Temperature PEM Fuel Cells taking place between 27 and 30 August 2019 in Duisburg, Germany.
CARISMA is a world-leading conference series held across the globe bi-annually, with a focus on the challenges in developing medium and high-temperature membrane electrode assemblies and fuel cells for automotive and stationary applications. The conference series continuously provides an opportunity for presentation of recent results as well as discussion and debate between invited industry-experts within Medium and High-Temperature PEM Fuel Cells. The purpose of the conference is to promote a review of important issues related to material development and durability for PEM fuel cell systems. The conference is the sixth in the series initiated by the CARISMA European Coordination Action on Intermediate and High-Temperature Membrane Electrode Assemblies.
The presentation of Mads Bang will be centred around the theme “HT PEM methanol fuel cells for automotive applications” and will detail why energy conversion in the fuel cells of Blue World Technologies is much more efficient than in combustion engines. Mads Bang will also touch upon the power density of fuel storage and total system energy density in relation to HT PEM Fuel cells.
