Supplier Quality Engineer – Aalborg, Denmark
Are you an experienced engineer who is eager to improve your commercial skills and experience? If yes, then you could become our new Supplier Quality Engineer in the sourcing team working closely with our development and manufacturing teams.
Your main tasks
You will be responsible for sourcing of components and sub-assemblies ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery and price competitiveness with our global suppliers. As the team is rather new, you will have a great impact on our sourcing success, reporting directly to the CPO in our headquarters in Denmark.
50-60 travel days per year can be expected.
Your tasks in detail
- Identify, challenge and describe component needs
- Together with your colleagues in R&D, prepare tender material for electrical and mechanical components in accordance with design specifications
- Conduct pre-qualification audits and proper due diligence related to suppliers
- Conduct continuous evaluation, analysing and qualification of suppliers using supplier scorecard
- Ensure and improve communication and cooperation between internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Translate technical specifications to commercial supplier request
You have a technical education with a commercial flair and interest. Having knowledge of the renewable energy industry or fuel cells is an advantage, however, not a requirement. You are analytical, structured, self-driven, energetic, goal-oriented and a strong communicator. You have a good perception of quality and reliability. You are a team-player, accountable and have high ethical and moral standards in all aspects of your job.
